UV Lens Protection
Does UV Protection Matter? Yes, ultraviolet (UV) eye protection matters. UV radiation from the sun can damage not only the skin of your eyelid but also the cornea, lens and other parts of the eye. UV exposure also contributes to the development of certain types of cataracts, growths on the eye and possibly macular degeneration. All Maxx Eyewear are UV 400 Rated – 100% protection from UVA and UVB light.
High Definition Lens
High Definition lenses enhance contrast by reducing the scattered blue light that causes objects to appear “flat” against backgrounds. Depth and contrast are improved so objects appear more sharply defined. Colors are bright and vibrant. Glare is virtually eliminated, allowing your eyes to relax and see everything remarkably crisp and clear, even at a distance
Smoke lenses reduce the entire spectrum of visible light with no color filtering. It is a good general purpose lens. Maxx also offers smoke polarized lenses which have the added benefit or polarization. See all our polarized options here.
High Definition Polarized
All of the benefits of our HD lenses plus polarization. A polarized lens means that only light rays that approach your eyes horizontally pass through. By blocking all vertical light waves bouncing off a flat surface, like a lake, pond or road, polarized lenses make objects look crisper and clearer. When wearing polarized sunglasses, you can actually see below the surface of water to search for schools of fish or hidden obstacles.
Clear Lenses with no tint. Ideal for rainy conditions, indoor or night work.
Yellow Similar to high definition lenses, the yellow lens also filters out blue light, but allow more light to pass through. They are especially beneficial in low light, hazy or foggy conditions.
